The Nest Vision Phases

The Nest Building Phase

Not formally taking applications during this phase, but willing to take someone in. This is an ongoing phase. The main 3 goals of this phase are:
A) Getting Physically Ready
  • Painting 
  • Decorating 
  • Transportation
  • Getting furniture and beds 
  • Getting all house hold essentials 
  • Putting in door upstairs 
  • Plans for expansion
  • Making the house feel like a true home

B)Getting Ready Ministerially
  • Building Applications 
  • Building Policies 
  • Constructing Website 
  • Setting-up Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc)
  • Building Advisory Board 
  • Building Debrief Team 
  • Building Support Base (Finances, Partner Churches, Partner Organizations and Volunteer Body) 
  • Building Staff 
  • Building a Resource List (Looking for Community programs to pursue for the girls)
C)Community Presence

The Nest Open Phase

Formally open and taking applications, still raising up new supporters, partners and volunteers.
  • This phase continues while support is built up to expand or move 
  • Taking in girls 
  • Taking care of the girls 
  • Connecting in to the community about/for the girls 
  • Continually looking forward to what God has in store

The Nest Expansion Phase

Formally Open and expanding through construction of 220, buying more property/houses, an/or selling
A) Our goal would be to have three homes:
  • The Nest Home - For pregnant women 
  • The Welcome Nest - For women and their newborns to stay in for up to two years to disciple them and get them established 
  • Hope Nest - For women who have placed their child for adoption, to stay for up to two years in an internship and discipleship, to establish them.
B) Purchase Land and Build? 
C) Purchase Homes Nearby? 
D) Sell 220 property?
